KhelNow is the first Indian social network where sports fans, hyperlocal events, businesses and stores come together to discuss, market and know what's the latest with the sport of their choice.
Timeline: June 2014 - November 2014
My Role: During my stint with FOLO and Kreativz as a design consultant, I was responsible for defining and detailing out design requirements through conducting precedent studies, competitive analysis and proposing a design for a social network that is geared towards giving sport fans access to great content and businesses, the right platform to market their products to fans.
Since 2014, the social network has seen tremendous growth in the last 3 years leading to more than a million active users.
Users can build detailed profiles about their interests which also helps businesses target the right profiles based on their interests along with a gamified experience to earn points and get better discounts on merchandise.
With detailed profiles of nearby businesses and venues, users can know upcoming events related to their interests and can add them to their calendar helping them follow up on their favorite sports and meeting other fans nearby.
Users can be notified of upcoming events and tournaments near them by tracking event schedules.
A content sharing platform to keep users engaged and in the know-how of all the developments in the sports they are interested in.
The platform will allow you to contact and book events, matches at venues that are nearby. Find a suitable date and get playing!
